The Indian Sports Industry is passing through a very critical time and to come
out of this needs a team of committed and dedicated members.
The
conditions created by our competitors are really tough and no single person or two can
bring back the golden era our industry had. We must work together to be renowned as team
with success. The members must understand to work for the development and up-gradation of
the quality and standards to compete the branded equipment dominating the international
markets.
We can
definitely achieve success but for this we require team work with expression of frank
opinion and positive constructive approach to make this industry strong with an entirely
new look to be recognized as quality producers. The industry today has young heads who are
competent to plan and lead. These men have very good access to all the sources from raw
materials to technology above all guidance is available from their senior experienced
colleagues.
The
opportunity has once again knocked our doors in the shape of challenge from the nations
who developed and progressed faster leaving us much behind and this must not be lost. We
must unite to compete with our unitedly developed quality equipment and make sure that our
presence is felt in the international markets.
I do hope
that a favorable consideration will be given to it to ensure we touch the heights which we
all desire and then progress as one team industry.
